Sidekicks is the former site of Country Kitchen of De Pere. The facility was purchased by the owner of a local tavern called The Bootlegger. Ray Hoffman remodeled the Main Avenue site and relocated his existing business that had been demolished due to expansion in downtown West De Pere in the year 2000.
April 1st of 2002 Denise & Kurt Gajeski changed the name to Sidekicks and expanded the kitchen and the menu. Our next step was to hire some of the best available people in the service industry, from kitchen staff to bartenders and servers. Once that was accomplished we were ready to begin showing potential customers what we had to offer in terms of quality products and great service all at a reasonable cost. We also recognized the need for clean friendly surroundings that welcome folks of all ages and provide a comfortable atmosphere for all. We strive to keep our facility, our offerings and our staff in tune with all of the current needs of our customers.
